SURF FILM FESTIVAL IN LISBON, PORTUGAL

SAL | SURF AT LISBON FILM FEST - JUNE 14 15 16

In the wake of similar successful events worldwide, the city of Lisbon, Portugal, hosts the first edition of SAL | Surf At Lisbon Film Fest. On June 14, 15 and 16 2012, one of the most outstanding theatres in Portugal, Cinema Sao Jorge, will be the venue to some of the best productions in the world of surf film. SAL (portuguese for SALT) intends to show the artistic and alternative side in Surfing and Surf film, its way of life and today's eclectic reach it has in society. From scary big waves to fun little waves, urban scapes to faraway destinations, warm tropical waters to 6mm rubber armours, the true spirit is what really matters. We would like to let everybody know that submissions are open until May 15, for feature films, short films, or whatever format you want to submit. Prizes will be awarded for the best productions, after selected and voted by our screening pannel.
